It's Canada Day 2009 - now 142 years old. In keeping with a Canada "theme" this image is another from our bike trip last week. This is the bridge across the Niagara River from Canada to the U.S.A. at Queenston, not far from Queenston Heights where Canada, before confederation during the war of 1812, fought the U.S.A. Does anyone know the name of this bridge or if it has a name?

Normally I would "straighten" the image, but time has been tight, so I didn't.

Isn't it the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge?

To the best of my ever shrinking knowledge....it is indeed called the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge. My favorite way into the States!

Sorry, 3-1/2 months. I'd hate to exaggerate.
