I went for a stroll around the college a couple of days ago to take some photos. I was amazed at how low the water level was in the college pond. This shot is at the main viewing/sitting area where the college abuts the pond. Actually, when the water is low, the pond area looks quite desolate and ugly. Not sure if the low level is due to the dry summer or the work being done above the pond for a new subdivision.

Same as all the golf courses around here. It's rained torrents for a few minutes on occasion, but this has been a very dry summer.
...I've never seen the pond that low...ever.
