Grahames Bakery in Kemptville boasts, as the plaque indicates, one of the last operating wood fired bakery ovens in Canada. In the lower photo is the shed of wood that fuels the fire. Unfortunately, the bakery was closed on the Sunday morning I strolled by.

Actually, Mike, no. I drove to Stratford through a snowstorm to help my mom with some of her moving into a condo.

Hey Rob, you did get to cample some of the Bakery's goodies if you tasted the butter tarts or oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies served at Saturday's lunch in Hooterville!
That should read "Sample" above....
