Today is Remembrance Day. Not long ago it is was a day to remember the actions and sacrifices of those who fought in WWI, WWII and Korea. Now we include Afghanistan and the peace keeping "battles" our country's men and women have participated in. It almost seems that war is a constant and that peace time is an anomaly. As Dylan said, "Where have all the flowers gone, long time passing ... when will we ever learn ..." Remembering is truly important, but I think we need to stop and try to learn from what we are remembering. I'm sure those who've gone before us would appreciate the remembrance, but I'm certain they'd be wishing we'd learn from their efforts as well. We must remember, but we must work harder towards peace, love and understanding as well.
