The building which houses the Brigadoon Restaurant was built in 1835 by Richey Waugh. It was constructed using stone quarried from the local river bed. The stone is about three feet thick. The building was used as a general store and post office for many years.
It was renovated in the 1990's re-using much of the wood from the reconstruction.

It used to be the Friday night eatery for the Reunion Hockey Team!
No it did not. The Reunion Team has never darkened the doors of the Brigadoon.
