So true, Rob, I always wonder if we love the autumn so much because it is the last gasp of summer before the snow flies. Would we appreciate it as much if it was followed by six months of spring as it sometimes seems to be in Europe where bulbs bloom in Feb, and cherry trees in Jan (as I saw once in Paris) if they're very unlucky?
