We have a hydro easement running through our property, and these guys are in the process of chipping their "handiwork" after butchering a clear cut swath through some rally nice young white pines, oak trees and maple trees. I was less than pleased.
Hydro are notorious for taking out irreplaceable stands of trees - they clearly see them as the enemy, though I suppose when one takes out our power we agree... sigh

Like in Toronto this week, where one group of city employees paid to have a mural drawn and another group paid to have it painted over.
