This section of Main Street is looking a little run down. I'm not sure if significant upgrades are on the horizon. Do they look like heritage buildings that need preservation, UC?

Funny you should say that. I have a picture that looks very similar currently on display. And it is in the heritage neighbourhood.
However, I'm not so sure about this one....
You'd have to tear off most of the left side of the picture and the top part of the right to find any heritage in this eyesore.
Never my favourite victorian architecture - though sometimes lots of gingerbread helps
