This was taken from deck level of the Chief Commanda II looking out at the ice shacks on Calander Bay. The Chief is in dry dock until May, when it will once again ply the waters of Lake Nipissing.
This is the Chief Commanda TWO, very sea worthy, built in the 70's, a catamaran, aluminum boat with Volvo engines that can take anything Lake Nipissing and its, sometimes, 2 meter swells can throw at it.
My name is Rob Greenfield, and I live, work and play in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. I am an avid amateur photographer, and I enjoy posting photos of things and events I have been doing.

I'm not sure I'd want to be on that maiden voyage. I'm okay drinking beer when she's tied tightly to shore, but after that.....
is that thing still afloat??? I was on it back in the 70's and can't believe that it's still worthy

My grade 12 grad (1975) was on this boat. I didn't make the party cuz we had to leave for Trenton, then Lahr on that day!
