The wait time in Mattawa at Vets Taxi may be awhile (I think they may have a cab), but the view to Quebec over the Ottawa River should make up for the wait; although, it does get a bit cold in the winter. I'm also pretty sure hailing a cab in Mattawa is totally out of the question.Wednesday, February 17, 2010

This is where we park our canoes (like maybe again this summer?) after paddling from North Bay.
We'd leave our canoes there so we could stroll up the avenue for a beer. Guess the old tavern isn't there anymore so we may have to revert to the place of business referred to in the previous photos.
Who is "we?"
'We' was myself, Gregg Letts, and the Lynett brothers.
This year 'we' could be me & you...and maybe others. Those guys might even be into it again.
