It looked a little ominous yesterday as I ventured out on the lake - rain moving in from the north and waves kicking up from the west.

The fall colours are rapidly progressing with nothing but cloudy cool weather that does little to enhance spending time outside looking at then - unless you're like me and spend time outdoors regardless of the weather.

There are, however, some patches of blue where the sun does peak through, but these are fleeting moments.
