Anyone who passes by the CBC building on Front Street in Toronto can sit down and have a chat with Glenn Gould.

I would bet the same situation is present, sans Glenn Gould , in Montreal.

With yesterdays' news, maybe the CBC is planning to sell off Glenn too! He'd look good perched somewhere overlooking the lake.

I went to a garage sale on Premier Rd. way back when and this eccentric guy had some interesting and neat things. he had a wack of records and I bought a bunch. They were so varied and good, he didn't even remember what he had - original copy of Pet Sounds, lots of Glenn Gould, which he wasn't even selling but ended up outside in boxes. He said they weren't for sale so I told him there were a bunch outside. Well, he got excited and I helped him collect them all and put them back in house.
Once inside, he invited me into his living room and started talking to me about this small but pretty interesting looking piano - you guessed it - once belonged to Gould, or so he said but there was really no reason not to believe him. Then he started playing it and played me some stuff...definitely the most interesting garage sale I even went to!

Along the same vein of David's comments....with the cuts announced at CBC yesterday, the only "person" you may be able to talk to at CBC may be Glenn outside on the bench?
