Christmas

 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, even in the bush. While on our hike yesterday in the bush behind our place, Miss Fanny and I came upon this decorated Christmas tree on one of the trails. What a swell idea. It sure looks great in the middle of nowhere.

Camp Hill Cemetery Halifax

While in Halifax in July I roamed around the Camp Hill Cemetery. Some very old graves and "home" to some very notable Canadians including Alexander Keith and Robert Stanfield, often remembered as the best Prime Minister we never had.

This an old building undergoing some re-conditioning in downtown Halifax, that I noticed while visiting there in early July of this year.
 

Coldwater Rocket

After putting my foot in Coldwater, I noticed this rocket at the ice cream stand.  It reminds me of the rocket in the French film from early in the 20th century that shot a rocket into the eye of the Man in the Moon.

Mink

 This mink or pine marten wandered onto our deck this morning while I was eating breakfast.
