Even though it's still cold, there's a lot of heat in the sun, and the melting ice on rocks makes for great images.

Despite temperatures of -28C, these Bikes still get used around Nipissing Village.

Rock Cut Ice and Sumac Buds

The heat of the sun is evident in the ice forming on the south facing rock cuts.  I just wish the air would warm up as well.

Sunset Beach Bike

Well, I have to say it - after another day with temperatures less than -25C, I'd like to switch places with the velo rider in the photo.

Snow Smile

While out snowshoeing yesterday in the "back yard," Sunny and I came across this snow smile.  It's pretty neat when snow sags and doesn't fall.

Lake Walk

We went for a 2 1/2 mile walk out on the lake late yesterday afternoon.  Well. I trudged through the deep snow for about 2 1/2 miles, Sunny ran for about 5 miles.  She loves to run.
