More Screaming Heads, this time in a kind of Stonehenge arrangement. Check out this site for more information about the Screaming Heads: http://www.mmage.com/screamingheads/main.htm

Cessna
This is the business end of the Cessna we flew in to capture some of the images from previous posts. She's still airworthy, even at 50+ years old; however, the silver disc in the photo has a pretty worn belt that is responsible for prop turning, and on pre-flight inspection, I was, to say the least, a tad skeptical, bordering on worried.

RR Crossing
This is the RR crossing in Chisholm Township near Highway 11 North on Hill Siding Road. The rail line is the main line for all trains going north/south from Timmins in the north, south to Toronto through North Bay. It is a very low tech, unregulated crossing.

Walpole Stones
I picked up these rocks at the Ice Marshall's new-being-built digs a while ago; now I just need to figure out what to do with them. There's never a shortage of rocks in Northern Ontario.

Sunset From Early Evening Flight
Yesterday evening our pal, Glenn, took us up for an hour flight from North Bay to the Eau Claire Gorge and back. It was spectacular!

Canada Geese
Early morning geese on Trout Lake - they were a riot to watch land as they came in like a bunch of goofy giggling kids.

Big Birds Flying Across the Sky.
I "iPhoned" and "Camera +ed" this photo yesterday afternoon.
A flock of close to 200 geese just flew overhead, heading due south. Lots of squawking and honking. Funny thing was they were flying not in a "V" but in a long stretched out line. Very cool! But I can't help thinking it seems a bit early for that. Yesterday the temperature was 28C and right now it's a comfy 22C.
