Remembrance Day

My Dad and his dad, my grandfather. My grandfather fought in both World Wars, and my Dad served during the Cold War including 3 tours totaling 10 years in Europe with NATO.

This is not my photo. This is an aerial view of Trout Lake, here in North Bay, showing pressure cracks on the ice not long after the lake froze over. It has been so cold recently, there's no chance this will affect any on ice activities now.

Winter Bush

The trails in our "backyard" certainly are beautiful.

 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, even in the bush. While on our hike yesterday in the bush behind our place, Miss Fanny and I came upon this decorated Christmas tree on one of the trails. What a swell idea. It sure looks great in the middle of nowhere.
